💜MY VIOLET PARTAY!!! ٩(*•͈ ꇴ •͈*)و ̑̑❀ 💜

     

       

    Would you believe me if I said I was invited to my first party...EVER? WELL, I WAS!!＼(￣ー＼)(／ー￣)／Along with my besties westies from KKG!! Laura one of our KKG members kindly invited us all to her grand opening party for her store!!(ง ᗒᗨᗕ)ง My Violet💜, It was in Melrose near Beverly Hills!! It was a late night party, it ended at like 10 PM and I didn't get back home until like....1 in the AM!! 

    Well, I had to get ready pretty early like..I started getting ready at like 12 PM, because well it was a Friday, and that's when traffic starts to begin because everyone else is going home or getting ready to partay too!!ヾ│・ェ・ヾ│, So I basically rushed with putting on my makeup and barely had time to do my hair! I barely curled it! I was going to do a small "sujimori" poof, but I didn't have any time because it was already time for me to leave my house atp, I finished and left my house at like 3 PM!! 

    The traffic was like...no joke though ミ(ノ_ _)ノ, like all the cars were bumper to bumper, honking, all sorts of crap, very slow ride and at one point I thought I wasn't going to make it because when I finally arrived in LA, the store was almost ANOTHER HOUR (☍﹏⁰)｡, AWAY!!! Like I fought off the hours in traffic just getting here...now gotta add another hour just to be at the party? someone...save me....

    But anywho....I go through the suffering of more traffic and at this point, it's like 6 PM almost 6:30 and I am almost at the party YIPEE!!! It was honestly a peaceful ride to the party (*ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)ꕤ*.ﾟ, the sun was down, the store buildings and skyscraper buildings were all lit up, I don't know why but I just got the vibe of "IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!⸍⚙̥ꇴ⚙̥⸌" because of all of the lights and such. Also, the stores were...so boujee? Like they looked extremely expensive, I even saw a Vivienne Westwood store?? My thoughts were just "damn people got MONEY MONEY here" I looked out my window just in awe because like...DAMN!! What a time to be alive I guess!!

    So I make it to the partay *round of applause*, that place was CROWEDED THOUGH D: !! I had to squeeze in between people, saying a lot of excuse me's in the process just to get to the awesome....😼 KKG members!! 

    The KKG members and I were like...camping at the most perfect spot though!! Like it was (sorta away from the squished-together crowd) and it was a good photo-taking place!! There were a lot of cool photo motifs, like the couch, big shiny mirror, silly creature nook, and in general just a good spot to somewhat relax!

    Also! The vibe or style I went for was Kyabajo! I wanted to look my best for this party because if you're gonna go anywhere...might as well go all out right? Especially to a PARTY! So I thrifted this dress from Mercari USA, necklace + earrings from HDLA, mini crown from Amazon, shoes from a thrift store, and bracelets from DD's Discounts! ٩(♡ε♡ )۶

 

    We mainly stayed in this spot for like...the majority of the party, I know we went outside once but...TO GET SOME ICE CREAM YUMMYYYYY!!!!! ʕ′⊙ᴥ⊙ˋʔ !!! There were free alcoholic, non-alcholcic drinks, and ice cream yall, i love my free stuff so I only got the best thing on the menu and it was the ice cream (duhhhhhhhh)! It was nice and chilly outside :3, our group all got ice cream and we mainly talked abt whatever, all enjoying our ice cream like bosses, the people who were legally allowed to have drinks, had the combo of ice cream and BEEEEERRRRRRR🍻🍻🍻 But it then started to get crowded at the ice cream truck, like I felt like I was invading peoples personal space because I had to move out of the way of the people passing by, which resulted in me having to get closer to my group💔so sorry yall💔. and slowly I felt like I was a hamster in a cage once more, so I retreated back inside with Jacey and Eden! 

A silly thing that happened throughout the night was Jacey having an eye on one of the dresses in the My Violet store, the whole time she was like " I'm keeping my eye on you >_> " She was debating if she should get it, but she eventually tried it on, Eden and I during that time while Jacey was trying on the dress were actually talking about an aspect of gal! 

They told me their concerns with how hypocritical the gyaru community seems and how they are somewhat intimidated by it. But I tried to tell them that when you really think about it...gyaru isn't all THAT serious. Like it's serious where there are rules you gotta yknow ....sorta follow, but it's not that serious to the point of being afraid of people's backlash! Like people are going to judge you NO MATTER WHAT you do, how you dress, how you look, etc. People are just like that! But letting people's lame opinions dictate how you wanna live your life or how you wanna do...like anything is SO LAME!! 

Like! YOU ONLY HAVE ONE LIFE!!!!! why in this ONE LIFE you were given are you going to give a second thought to people who are clearly trying to tear you down? My family HATES💔 when I dress in gyaru, like that's when I receive the most insults from them! I get called pretty foul names whenever I'm either getting ready or when I am about to leave for an event. Like they tolerate it to the point they won't kick me out of the house, but they kinda hammer it in that they really DON'T like it😭!

But despite that I still dress in gal, revolve my life around gyaru, and basically "rebel" against them because trust me ya'll I had to fight them/break some rules in order to be where I am today😭!! It's possible trust me, you just have to break some rules!!! YOLO!! 

    Uh...aside from that long uh...rant😀 I just told Eden that as long as you focus on Hair and Make that reads as gal, you're pretty much fine, like you can wear a trash bag co*de but as long as you can style that, your hair and make up is great....you'll still be able to read as gal!!! 

    So Jacey comes out eventually with the dress she's been eyeing all night and asks about our thoughts! We told her that it's cute and she should totally get it!! I think I said the final words to really push her into buying the dress I said something like "You might as well get it! It was literally made for you, you only live once yknow buy it!" B)) and she did!! 

By this point, it was almost time for the party to end! The crowds were starting to die down, and people were just chilling! Something funny I did notice though was there were a lot of like.... tiktok/instagram influencers! Like I remember thinking the whole time in my head when I recognized someone was like "aren't you from... tiktok??/instagram??...i recognize you🤔" Though obviously I never rlly went up to them because I felt shy and was kinda intimidated in a way xPP ?? Plus these people were talking to their friends so I didn't wanna be rude just to say hi or something

Also this last photo LEGIT! convinced me to buy a digital camera BTW!! Like Jeez...Digital cameras welcome back into my life lol!!! Haven't seen you since my older sister moved out in like 2012??

So then I finally left the partay! But I was STARVING!! LIKE SO HUNGRY my stomach was cursing at me💔. So I went to NORMS! I had a chicken fettuccini Alfredo pasta! It was sooo good, their toast is like THE BEST though!!! My favorite part in the meal :P, I was trying to eat my food fast because my ride already looked over it, so I ate my food as fast as I could, took my last couple of selfies in the bathroom, and drove back home!!

    So yeah, I got back home at 1-2 AM and just knocked out LOL!! xD
